The Arboretum had BOGO deal on Wednesdays. Not sure if it's still on or not. Call to verify first. 3.You can bring a picnic lunch or eat there if you want. 4.you can arrange to have them taken in a golf cart if it’s too much walking |

| Grapevine, Fort Worth Zoo | Supposedly better than Dallas zoo. You can take the train all the way to fortt worth and it drops you off in the stock yard. Then ya'll can watch the Texas long horn cattle drive. Las colinas is also very nice, the botanical gardens by white rock lake is also very beautiful 2. That train ride is great, if it's running now. It's an old steam engine. It leaves from Grapevine and goes to Ft. Worth stockyards, then returns a few hours later 3. include the old Stockyards area and check out the cowboy gunfight in the area, Fincher’s Western Wear, and eat on the patio at Joe T. Garcia’s. The patio is beautiful and the food is awesome. That area really gives you the true old time Texas feel. 4. And cattle run down the Main Street. Check times...11am & 4pm, I think. 5. They are an open air car, u feel the wind blowing thru! Beautiful scenery going thru the Piney Woods and everyone cheers when the whistle blows! |

| Acre Distilling in Fort Worth | it's in what was Hell's Half Acre in a neat older building. They do a tour/tasting for $15 a person (buy tickets ahead of time) where you get to taste something like 6 or 7 different spirits. They go over a little bit of the history of the area, the distilling process for different things, and you get a complimentary glass at the end. It's low key but pretty neat. |
